A Quick Review of Bukisa

I have been registered with Bukisa for a while, but only recently started writing articles there. While it may not be the most flashy site out there for aspiring revenue writers, it does provide a solid profit for earning some extra Google Adsense revenue. Bukisa can also be optimized with Chitika if you do not like/use Adsense.

The best part about Bukisa is that the writing standards are not incredibly anal. You can re-post your own original content from other sites. You can link to other articles within your article. It manages to have both these features without appearing to be another one of those notorious "content farms". There is a healthy community. Although it does not stir the pot in terms of new features, it is a decent site that I have been earning some money from my limited collection of articles.

If I start making tons of money from this site I will certainly do a more in depth review, but I wanted to put out some information out about this site because I feel that it is not readily recognized as much as it should be. Again, its not at the same tier as InfoBarrel or Wizzely, but it is a solid revenue earner.

The New Xomba Writing Community

Many of you may have noticed that the old Xomba site has been replaced with a new sleeker version with better handling and better social media integration. I actually never liked the old site. It was very Web 1.0-ish. This was one of the reasons the site operators went ahead with the re-launch. Another reason was that after the Google Panda update, the owners felt that "earning money for writing" was now less realistic. There certainly are many sites that have gone down the tubes, so I don't entirely blame them

As someone who is trying to earn money and create wealth online, however, it is disappointing that they have place less of an emphasis on earning money. Most people used the old Xomba for backlinks through their bookmarking feature. The editors will not be tolerating this type of activity on the new Xomba site. As it is, the Adsense split is only a halfway decent 60/40 split in favor of the authors.

Just because the new Xomba appears to be less of an opportunity to earn money, does not mean it can't be done. For one thing, there is going to be a create writing culture and community. As an online author, networking can often make your life alot easier. Who knows, maybe the new site will be extremely Google friendly. If that is the case then it really doesn't matter what the Adsense split is. I would rather take a 60/40 split on a site that is Google friendly than get 100% revenue from a site that is junk on Google.

I have taken the new site for a little test drive to see where it takes me. I have posted a few "Top Lists" (one of the best new features), an article, and a few bookmarks to legitimate news articles. I will give it a month and then report back on my findings.

A New Opportunity: Wizzley

I have been putting significant effort into Squidoo lately, trying to get over ten quality lenses finished by the end of this week. I really enjoy the way Squidoo works, the product integration, and the fun and helpful community atmosphere. That said, I was intrigued to hear that a few prolific Squidoo writers had branched off to form their own content creation site.

Wizzley is in some ways similar to Squidoo, but definitely is a creature of its own. It is still in the Beta stage of development, but people are already making money from it. What I love about Wizzley is that it allows product linking from AllPosters, Zazzle, Amazon, and the traditional Google Adsense method. While I have not signed up for the Zazzle affiliate program and still have not properly initiated my AllPosters affiliate promotion, I do love the flexibility having these multiple potential streams of revenue available.

I have not yet begun creating new content for Wizzley, but I have signed up and created an account. I have alot on my plate right now, but writing for this site just went to the top five of my "to do" list.
